I was very impressed with Sea Palms Inn, the room was beautiful and the front desk clerk was very helpful. Of all the hotels on St. Simons I will be sure to return to this location. You cannot beat the price and the quaility.

We stayed at the hotel June 26-28th. The front desk staff was nice but the room left a lot to be desired. The blanket had worn spots in it, there were roaches in the room, when we called the front desk and they had someone come and spray well in the evening the roaches were back. Upon check out they offered a $10. credit as if that would make our weekend any better. At breakfast which is complimentary the toaster did not work, the microwave did not work, the cups for juice were cracked and juice got all over the table and the front desk did not think to get it fixed till after 9am, breakfast was being served as of 7am. at the pool there were not towles, you had to ask the desk to supply them. I would not recommend the hotel to anyone.

We stayed at the hotel June 26-28th. The front desk staff was nice but the room left a lot to be desired. We stayed at the Sea Palms Inn on Saturday, June 13- Sunday June 14. We booked the room on travelocity.com. We arrived at the hotel and checked in with no problems. However, we turned on the light in the bathroom and a roach was crawling around. The toliet was leaking and it made a running noise all night long. Not to mention that our air condition stopped working in the middle of the night. We called down to the front desk and the repairman came to the room around 2am. Instead of moving us to another room , he ""fixed"" the air conditioner. Needless to say, it never got cool after that. We had a do not disturb sign on the door and were still waken up by housekeeping. I would not recommend this hotel for anyone. Please stay somewhere else.
